Asian budget airline head expresses his hopes for the future

The CEO of Malaysian budget airliner, AirAsia, has said his long-term goal is to one day take over Singapore Airlines.
Maverick entrepreneur Tony Fernandez revealed his company's ambitions at the presentation night in Malaysia attended by Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.
During the event, Mr Fernandez displayed pictures: one of aircraft livery and the other of AirAsia's new uniform for its stewardesses, which are a combination of the famous SIA baju kebaya and a red AirAsia skirt.
He explained to his audience that he would name his new company Singapore AirAsia.
